Google Apps at Binghamton University

Binghamton University is excited to announce that it has partnered with Google to provide our students, faculty and staff tools to enhance communication and collaboration.
The current Mirapoint Email system will be replaced with our implementation of Google Apps Education Edition. We expect to implement Google Apps during the Fall 2009 semester.
Google Apps Education Edition is a suite of hosted communication and collaboration applications designed for institutions of higher education. Google Apps Education Edition will provide additional features beyond email. Larger mail boxes, expanded data storage, a calendar system, documentation storage and a website creation tool. Users will continue to use their existing @binghamton.edu email address.
You may wish to use BMail now before the official cutover from the Mirapoint E-mail Service in mid-March 2010 (http://webmail.binghamton.edu).
